Saiman Chow is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work ranges from illustration,
design, directing and animation. A native of Hong Kong, Saiman came to the US
as a teen and now resides in New York City. His work has been featured
and commissioned by Tokion, Print, Nylon, Nike, Adidas, IDN and Res10. He is
best known for his highly crafted stop animation works which embody a sense of
dark humor. For “Blind Carbon Copy”, Chow has installed a lighted sign that reads
"ESL" (English as Second Language), referring to the anxiety and insecurity that
plagued his adolescence.
