A one ton block of ice was placed

on a park bench on a summer day

in New York city. The original

intent was to document the

melting process from solid to

liquid. Unexpectedly, the block fell

off of the bench, shattered and

broke within 15 minutes. The ice

was destroyed within 12 hours.
